De Rijp is located approximately 30km north of Amsterdam and is easily reached by car or bus. It's a beautiful setting to discover. A visit to the city of Alkmaar – with which De Rijp has been merged since 2015 - is easy to combine.

 

 

In co-operation with Hotel de Rijper Islands, Alkmaar Marketing, Dagje De Rijp and Land van Leeghwater, a special program has been set up that will certainly surrender the Korean tourists. Components of this program are:

  • a city walk through Alkmaar;
  • a visit to the cheese market;
  • a bus ride through the Schermer mills to Graft and De Rijp;
  • a cruise through the Eilandspolder with a walk through De Rijp, with special attention to the statue of Jan Janszn. Weltevree, the Great Church and the museum.
